What is Photography ~ Part 2

Dates:  Sept 1 and 2, 2020
We have learned a little history behind photography and how it came about.  Now, we begin talking about how the camera has evolved from a box to our modern digital cameras.  Lecture slide from the class in which we studied this are below, as well as the assignment associated with this lecture.  We will also begin the process of building our own personal camera obscura.  To see the slide in a larger format, click on the slide.  You can then scroll through the presentation.

FYI: This is how they used to do it!

For those interested, this is how film is developed!
If you missed this day, you missed an assignment in Skyward.  The assignment:  Write a two paragraph essay about how photography began.  Be sure to include something about the camera obscura and how it works.
